Pretty sure it’s a Chinese Loncin. Is the engine made in Germany, or China?
Correct.Pretty sure it’s a Chinese Loncin.
The older 650-700-800 series F-Twin engines were made by Austrian Rotax.
The 3/36 warranty leads me to think that BMW would want things to be as “stable” as possible. Warranty claims is something nobody likes.Further, is the bike assembled/made in China or just the engine is manufactured there and shipped to Germany, etc? I'm sure the engine is great, but I don't have a good feeling with all the cheap Chinese stuff that's failed on me through the years. IMHO of course.![]()
I believe final assembly is in Germany.Further, is the bike assembled/made in China or just the engine is manufactured there and shipped to Germany, etc?
