2019 r1250rt question on windshield

Looking at the above with 31K on it. When the dealer started the bike, the windshield [ the upper 1/3 anyway ] was vibrating like all get out. Asked him about it, he said they all do that.

Nah, that can't be, I've read too many RT owners impressions on that model and haven't seen any mention of that malady.

What say the members who own one, or could it be just that year for some reason?

Thanks in advance

I have the 2019 RT and it doesn’t vibrate like you describe. Sounds like a sewing machine, but doesn’t vibrate much.

Did the screen continue to vibrate after it was started and running, or just at startup?

I'm accustomed to screens not vibrating, as with my GT, GS, and now the RS. "Vibrate much" suggests yours does vibrate enough to notice it?

There was a thread awhile back about a R1200RT or R1250RT shield vibrating. I think it vibrated while the shield was raised or lowered.
I can't find the thread or posts.

I have a 2019 RT from new. The windshield is smooth all the way up and down. Absolutely no issues. Auxiliary on, engine idling or vehicle going down the road, my windshield behaves the same.

Thank you sir, no idea why the dealer said all the RT's do what this screen was doing.

I can only offer the suggestion that you run screaming away from this dealer or at least the particular salesman.
How could anyone trust anything they say after that?
