2016 r1200rs cam lobe wear issues?

Just read on the 1200/1250rs forum that the 16 model is known for cam lobe wear issues?

Having just bought one with 27K on the odo, I suppose I should have the cam's checked for wear?

Service tech had just done the 24K full service, he didn't mention any wear issues.

What's next if it was yours? I did take an extended warranty when I bought it.
