2014 RT sticky start switch

My "start / stop" switch is becoming increasingly hard to engage and wanted to know if anyone else has either encountered this AND has a "fix"??? Had this bike since new.

Similar

Hi,
I had a similar issue with the menu switch on the opposite cluster on my 2014 RT. It would not return to the neutral position. I took a thin feeler gauge and cleaned out some grunge between the rocker and the housing on both sides. After cleaning took a clean feeler gauge with a drop of 3 in 1 and lubed between the rocker and the switch housing. Has worked fine since. Though I did come home yesterday from Lake Placid in a lot of heavy rain. Will be interesting how the switch held up once the bike dries out.

And

Hi,
One other possibility, I'm the 2nd owner of my 14 RT. My dealer gave me a "redacted" version of the first check up and the right side switch cluster was replaced under warranty.
