2014 R nine T footpegs

Rubber inserts in my footpegs are starting to tear from moving my feet around. First choice is to replace w all metal pegs but I'm struggling to find ones in the stock position (don't want lowered, rearsets, etc.). Second option is swap passenger peg rubbers up to driver position to get a few more years out of them. Anyone know how to detach / re-attach the rubber inserts?

I don’t know hoe the niner rubber attaches as my new to me pegs was minus the rubber when I purchased her, but on all of my previous mcs they just popped up and out. I’d be surprised if they didn’t on the niner also. 8E4480A0-A6F9-46CF-A373-4A560E1C3487.jpg8E4480A0-A6F9-46CF-A373-4A560E1C3487.jpg. I’m just glad to see another R Nine T member post on the forum😀

No pics but the "screws" on the underside appear more like pop rivets? Round head w a round hole in the center. I tried Torx and Allen tools in the hole but neither caught any resistance. I'll try some different tools this weekend to see if I can turn the screws.

The rubber on some models are rivited now and not as easy to replace as the ones on older BMWs.
You'll have to drill out the rivits.

Does seem to be rivits. Hole in the head is constant ID w no surfaces to apply torque. I see the nine T Scrambler & Urban have more "GS" style pegs so may look for a used set of those and see if they will interchange. Thanks for the help!

Rubber outer over foot rest

Being tall I always turn my pads upside down get about 3/4 inch more leg room.
The rubber pads slide on and off pretty easy, flip them
