'02 1150GS ABS noise

Hello MOA,

I have a 2002 R1150GS. It's running like a champ and I had a great ride this morning. One thing that's a little odd: when I drop it into first gear from a stop
there's a mechanical ker-chunk that I think is the ABS engaging. There's no noise when braking and the bike stops just fine. The sound is a little weird though.
Is it the normal mechanical movement noise of a 20-year-old component, or should I look into it? Is there a service procedure for ABS modules (changing out fluid or something)?

Any thoughts or experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
