No Brake Signal - Hex ezCan

2018 R1200GS Rallye Good Morning. I've having an issue and need a bit of help. In 2018 I installed the Hex ezCan to control my Weiser 2 in 1 turn signal and brake lights. The system worked flawlessly until just a couple of days ago when I noticed the rear brake lights were not working. Turn...

Hex EzCan Update & resulting issues

If you have a Gen1 EzCan, there may be an update to the firmware. I found it after adding a set of Denali DRL's to my R1200RT (LC). I installed the DRL's, mounting them on the fender. I connected them to the EzCan "White" circuit, configured as a general aux circuit. (Plenty of power in this...

I want a flashing LED stop lamp to go right here…17 RT

Seems like its a fixture made for a light of some sort on the back fender of my 17 RT. 10.75cm long x 2.5cm wide. It would be perfect for a pulsing super bright LED stop lamp to hopefully prevent someone from ramming me in the rear. Anyone know of such a thing?

Denali Cansmart vs Hex ezCan- accessory power controllers

I haven't used either of these....only read about them here on the forum. Being an old direct to the battery guy, seemed interesting especially since it showed controlling functions with the "Wonder Wheel". Perhaps this video from Twisted Throttle will help others that are unfamiliar with this...

    Denali Dr1 2.0/Hex EzCan questions

I have a Hex EzCan installed on my '15 R1200RT, with a Denali B6 Auxiliary LED License Plate Brake light attached. The brake light works great! I just purchased/received the following: Denali Dr1 2.0 Light pods (not the full kit -- I have the EzCan) Denali fairing mounts (under mirror mounts @...

Clearwater claims that HEX ezCAN will damage their lights..

All, This came up in another discussion but I thought it might be worth it to make it a specific topic. I asked the folks at Clearwater if I could use their lights with the HEX ezCAN. Their response: "The Ezcan product is not approved for use with our lights. It will, in fact, damage them...

    R1200GSLC - HEX ez CAN

Wanting to add extra daytime running lights, fog lamps, air horns, or an extra USB and outlet seem to be a constant for me on every touring and ADV bike I ever own. There never seem to be enough connections to power it all. My last bike, the Triumph Tiger Explorer certainly had the alternator...

    lighting options on 2016 R1200RT

I am a new owner of a 2016 R1200RT. This is my first BMW and my first bike using H7 low beam bulbs and H1 high beam bulbs. I have a three part question concerning improving the light output without going to HID. 1. I have done some reading here and have settled on using Osram H1 rallye bulbs to...
