Post Your Trip Pictures

Ian, see that tunnel in the hillside? When you exit the covered road in your pic to the far right, you get a view often found on postcards and that is where I took my pic from.

For those not familiar with this area, there are three routes you can take: 1) the boring route through the mountain tunnel and see nothing, 2) the road which is faster than taking the cobblestoned Tremola road (the one in the hillside of Ian's pic) 3) and of course the cobblestoned Tremola.

My girlfriend is pointing to where my pic in post #259 was taken...

Forgot to ask earlier, that a cook your own steak place? Trying to place it?

Yes, you grill what you bring. You pay them for a baked potato, salad and roll.
They provide plastic utensils so it's a good idea to bring real utensils.
Not sold on the cook your own setup but the band was really good so we're glad we went.
The two guys at Luckenbach were also good and we stayed longer than usual to listen.

Ok it wasn't a trip but it was my first day out of the season. I forgot my wallet for gas so it wasn't far.

I went out a dirt road to a little community that is only a few summer houses now, I ran into one small issue.

Corn snow over ice is not a good mix for 2 wheels, I didn't make it very far before I fell over.:ha

I’m laughing with you,not at you!
Looking in the hiding spot for emergency money you forgot to replenish :banghead

And my pucker factor on ice has me saying NOPE!

A rides a ride though!

I was laughing at me for sure! I was pretty sure how I was going to end up when I kept going. Emergency $$ aren't going to help you there either. :ha
