nothing to do with size. the quotes were around "fat bike" and did not include "size".

"fat bike" tire is a GT tire. they are for fat (heavy) bikes....K13S is not one of those.

I'm finally up for a new set of tires. Currently running PR4 GT's on a 2009 K1300GT and will try the new PR5 GT. Checked the mileage on the current tires and I was able to get 16.5K out of the set riding one up.

All I can say is that the oil is refreshed by a fine group of people in the mountains of western NC. I just pay them and do not inquire into their back room secrets.
