Looking for previous R1200RT release dates.

I am new to BMW Motorcycles, and as I wait for my 2014 R1200RT to arrive, I am wondering if I should just wait for the 2015. I tried a couple Google searches to no avail. Any of you veterans know around what month the new model RT's are usually available in the states?

Thanks for your time,
Shawn T

I often check the BMW Press Releases. Here's the website. You can drill down to the R models and see when they were officially announced.

I'll bet that BMW delays the launch of the 2015 RT until the backlog of unsold RTs are cleared. My dealer has received 5 RTs that customers have ordered but he is unable to sell until the shocks are repaired. The five customers have since cancelled their orders. The dealer has been very reluctant to discuss my 2014 RT trade in on a GTL as he's worried about getting stuck with 2014 RTs he can't sell.

Do you suppose there will be unusually good deals on 2014 RTs once they are fixed? I am planning to buy a GS next spring (or Super Tenere) but a really good deal on an RT would get my attention.
