I am currently looking into the purchase of an airhead. R100RS or RT. So joined this forum hoping to learn something. My last of 5 bikes was a 1977 Kawasaki 1000 LTD that I took across the country a few times. It had 42,000 miles on it when I sold it. So I am not new to motorcycles, but have not ridden for 22 years - was raising a family, you know how that goes.
I am looking for a rider, not a trophy. Any leads on where I can find a good one reasonably priced are appreciated.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! You should find some great Airhead advice here.. As for used bike sources, be sure and check the Flea Market at the top of the page. The sorting routine is not all that great, but there are over 100 Airheads listed from other MOA members. Another source you could consider is the IBMWR market place. Check the link in my signature for a range of links and websites that might come in handy for support later on.

Although not SE PA, Tom Cutter has his BMW shop up in Yardley, PA. Check out Rubber Chicken Racing Garage when you have some time. He knows Airheads!

You should probably check with the office. I suspect it will take a few weeks to go through the paperwork and get it mailed to you. Or you could check with them to get the number ahead of time if you need it.

It would help if we had a better idea were you live.

Just an area, don't need an exact location.

Ex: I live north of Allentown near the blue MT Ski Area.

The members can tell you where to go, an how to get help.

Also remember to fill out the information for the Anonymous Book. if you want to help coming thru the area.

Welcome to the zoo.
