Post a picture of your Wethead

Best I have for now, the day I bought it, November 13th, 2014. Came loaded along with Wunderlich crash bars, hyper lites in the reaf and a side stand foot enlarger.

I've since added Clearwater Darlas, Skene Photo Blasters, Remote Heat Troller with bulkhead connection and a Machineart Fender extender....oh and my Alaska Sheep Skin which I refuse to ride without.

Waiting to be added are a set of Wunderlich highway pegs and paint protection kit. I also have a fiamm dual mini blaster kit with special rt lc mounting bracket to install, but its frustratingly tight up there and after a few hours I decided to wait for warmer weather to tackle that.

Still debating the need for a custom seat and or back rest as well as footleg lowers. I will decide on those items after my first long distance ride out to the Moonshine Burger Run.

The ride home from VA to NY when I got the bike wasn't bad, the seat and leg position seemed okay.

Thanks MOA and Foundation! I was one of the richly blessed raffle winners.

First time on a GS! Then rode it home from Chattanooga, TN to Spartanburg, SC.

new 2015 R1200R

Here's mine just after I got it home from the dealer. Thunder grey metallic, comfort and touring packages, integrated panniers, gear shift assist, keyless ride, headlight pro, and NAV5 . Sorry, not a great pic......

Updated the look by painting the tank side panels in a Racing Blue Metallic Matte (Satin) finish to compliment the blue stripe around the wheels.

New to the forum and BMW Motorcycles

Here is my first BMW, a '14 R1200RT. It was delivered on April 3, 2015. In January I had a pretty serious accident on a Triumph Tiger Explorer XC that totalled the bike and resulted in several broken bones and a few surgeries. I'm almost healed enough to take my new bike out for a ride. Until then, I just have to look at her everyday and imagine being back on the road.

Is that a Two Brothers exhaust can on there? I bet that sounds nice! Your bike looks really good! :thumb

Congrats on a very nice RT! Good to hear you are almost all healed up. Take your time getting back in the saddle and enjoy the ride :)
