Socket Extender

Can anyone tell me where to find extender(s) for my torque wrench.

The nut on my rear axle is not easily accessed due to muffler placement.

I want an open end or box wrench end that extends my 3/8 drive wrench. Looking for product names and outlets.

Also, I presume that the extender will NOT change the torque reading. Do others in the know concur?

Thanx, Russ

Something like this?

Google says they're called "torque adapters."

Mathematically speaking, I would think they'd change the torque value because the moment arm would be longer.

If the extender is placed at 90 degrees to the handle it won't alter the torque reading enough to matter. If not at 90 degrees it will because it effectively alters the length of the lever arm.

Agreed. As I was re-reading my post, I thought I should add that.
