Thanks. It’s not a huge issue, but if I had to disconnect the trailer, I’d need to ensure it’s secured so someone doesn’t “walk off with it.”

As another person who occasionally pulls a trailer let me pose a question or few. Assuming the tow bar pin is a locking type and there is a lock on the coupler on the hitch ball, is this secure? Thanks. It’s not a huge issue, but if I had to disconnect the trailer, I’d need to ensure it’s secured so someone doesn’t “walk off with it.”
At every MOA National Rally that I have attended, I have seen GPSs, keys in ignitions and other items left on bikes. The MOA Rally members seem to be a very trusting and secure group. There might be a concern if Day Passes allow the local population in but even then I very much doubt that your trailer would vanish.Thanks. It’s not a huge issue, but if I had to disconnect the trailer, I’d need to ensure it’s secured so someone doesn’t “walk off with it.”
How hard would it be to unscrew the nut on the hitch ball, lift the whole thing out of the tow bar, swivel the trailer around, drop the ball in the tow bar on a different vehicle and drive away. This is a serious question about the illusion of security we construct for ourselves.
Well, if someone wants to cut the padlock on the hitch ball, yeah…they could just move to another ball hitch and go. Of course, I have a thick cable lock I wrap around one wheel when it’s parked outside at home. You could still steal it, but you’ll be dragging a tire the whole time. I bring this with me when I travel, but I’d try to secure to something more immovable…like a light pole.
I was going to just buy a day pass until I saw this.I deleted and reposted this with a smaller pic, ~after~ OM posted about it. Oops.

I figured it out!!I am new to using a GPS(Garmin 396) and cannot figure out how to import routes to my GPS. I go into ride with gps(bicycling route app) and choose the route, I choose send to device. Garmin then it sends to garmin connect, which is a watch app. I do not want to do that.
What the heck am I doing wrong. I have a garmin connect account and can find the route in app but still can't send to gps. I do not want to use my phone as GPS.
