1992 K75 Standard fuel hose

If this has been addressed in the tech area, then I missed it and apologize. I had replaced the fuel hose (from tank to the injector pipe) earlier this year with just ol' regular fuel line. Finished a short ride today and the bike stalled when I pulled in the driveway. Odd. The bike normally idles perfectly. Tried starting a couple of times and same thing.......stalls when I let it idle. Then I noticed the gasoline smell. Looked down and saw gas pooling underneath the bike. Looked at that hose I had replaced and it was split right up by the tank.

My question is......is that fuel hose supposed to be "special", as in reinforced?

Thanks in advance

"Regular" fuel hose is made for old carburated engines and rarely sees pressures above 10 psi.

ALWAYS specify hoses made for fuel injection for your bikes.

ALWAYS specify SUBMERSIBLE fuel injection hoses for your in tank hoses.

Many thanks, guys. This is why I ask questions here. I always get the correct answer.
