The clock on my '04 R1150R died. An online search didn't come up with any results, and even if I wanted to buy one new (godawfully expensive), they are no longer available. Anyone know of a source or if it can be resurrected?

Is the rest of the RID ok? Check fuse #4; check for corrosion in the connector on the back side of the unit.

It doesn't have a RID. It has a speedometer, tachometer, and an analog (round dial and hands and everything) clock in a triangular arrangement.

Where were you 6 months ago when I couldn't give one away!!
Try gently tapping the side of the clock with a small plastic hammer or screwdriver handle with the power applied. Sometimes that will get them going if they have been sitting idle.
If that does not work, contact a speedometer repair shop and see if they will look at it.

If you couldn't give it away it is supposed to still be over in the corner in that box on the shelf underneath the collection of electrical connectors and fuse holders, isn't it?

Sadly, no. I let it go for $10 as part of a larger deal.....
I had it for months.

Already tried the "gentle persuasion" approach to no avail. I'll check around for a repair shop.

After coming up empty-handed in the US for anyone who can repair the clock, as well as any sources for a used one (new clocks not available), found one in the UK at MotorWorks (http://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Home/index.php). Very helpful on ordering. Now the wait for delivery.
