Just go my differential repaired under warrant at Santa Rosa BMW. They did a really good job and the bike runs like new. I just hope the company doesn't pull the rug out from under them as they did to our other local shop.

Bearing Kaput

Final drive bearing went out you could actually wobble the wheel a half inch side to side. It happen'd shortly before I was due for new tires and got fixed before it could cause some very serious damage.

Good that you caught it. Fixed the drive, not replaced? Big bearing outside the oil or inside?

Big bearing

It was the big bearing so had nothing to do with the oil however the shop replaced the entire final drive unit.
