Fuse/Junction box?

‘07 1200GS. I’ve got so many leads connected to my battery (need extra hands just to get the battery connected or disconnected), and now want to add a Garmin Zumo XT to the mix. Has anyone used something like this — Blue Sea Systems 5025 ST Blade Fuse Block 6 Circuit with Ground and Cover? Is it compatible with the CANBUS? Is there a better switched alternative for connecting the Zumo? Thanks

The wiring harness already has a GPS connection with switched power (intended for a BMW Navigator). Splice BMW part number 83 30 0 413 585 to the XT power lead, and plug it in. The connection is probably capped and taped up near the fork pivot.

I had a Blue Sea box on my RT. I pulled power from the battery and used a relay attached to one of the bike's power supplies to turn the panel on.

Worked great, but after I got rid of the Autocom and a bunch of other crap I never used, I took it all out.

There are also some smaller panels that may work better. There's not much room under the seat on those bikes. www.fuzeblocks.com may have a smaller, tidier opportunity, but it's gonna cost more than the Blue Sea thing, I think.
