What are you listening to today?

The new Kendrick Lamar album, GNX. I suspect I'm the only person or one of the few on this board that know who he is.

The tracks with SZA are outstanding.

For those not familiar with SZA, she's old school style R&B. This got dropped like yesterday and she's singing about going for a drive to get her thoughts right, something we've likely all done, but with a helmet on our noggin.

Enjoy, friends.

If you liked SZA, you owe it to yourself to take a listen to H.E.R., as well. It's hard to not see her amazing talent on her Tiny Desk show.

Put your headphones on and get ready to go for a ride. "Hard Place", the second song, is one of my favorites.

Daniel Caesar seems just right for a moody winter day.

He uses a few cuss words, so if you're offended by them, heads up. But oh my. The man sings like Smokey with that sweet falsetto.

I heard this as the opening song on Episode 6, Season 1 of the show "Landman" on one of the streaming services. I was quite taken by this singer. A bit of research led me to this...

Grace Bowers: Five guitar riffs that changed my life

Crazy good on the guitar. I will have to look for more from her.

Great song, first released as a single in 1968 (before E/R) and then on their first album (Music From B.P.).
"just pulled in to Nazareth PA to pick up my Martin" 🎸

I often feel like I'm the only person on this forum that listens to music written this century. :ha
Probably, but Willie is still writing songs even if Johnny and Merle and Chris have passed away. And Townes Van Zant was clearly 20th century.
