My wife and I are going to be taking advantage of the opportunity to raft the lower New River on Wednesday prior to the rally. We will likely be camping at the outfitters (North American River Rafters www.NARR.com) Tuesday night, and doing the full day trip including buffet dinner. If any other experienced paddlers would like to help us fill the adventure boat (6 man as opposed to the less spirited ride of the 8 man) please contact me. We will then be heading to the rally site to offer our assistance in whatever way may be most helpfull.
