Thanks for the PDF showing all the Tupperware and the screws that go into each location. I removed the right-side Tupperware on the right side of my RT to string some wires for mounting some DRL's (Twisted Throttle parts) controlled by my EzCan. Putting the Tupperware back on, I had a screw left over. D---! Take it back off, still didn't see the open hole. Found this PDF, and carefully reviewed each piece. Finally found the open hole. Reviewed each bolt/each location. Discovered there are 4 different bolts used (WTF!) Why in the h--- does BMW use 14mm shoulder bolts and 16mm shoulder bolts? I defy anyone to take a 14mm bolt in one hand and a 16mm bolt in the other and tell the difference by looking at each hand. Anyway, thanks to the PDF, I believe I have the correct bolt in the correct location. Thanks again for the useful PDF.

The primary difference is the length of the shoulder. The shorter shoulder screws hold a single tab while the longer shoulder ones are used where 2 tabs overlap.

The shoulder on the 14mm w/shoulder & 16mm w/shoulder are exactly the same. The 17mm has a longer shoulder. And then there are the 14mm bolts w/no shoulders.
