Slipping Standards

I have no "ax" to grind about the dealer(s) in question as I don't even come close to being able to afford a BMW from one of these places.

However, having been an employee of a Honda/BMW/Marine dealer when I was in high school and just after, it does seem to me that these kinds of customer related problems are current in most any dealership regardless of the brand.

Customers are "used" not "served."

However, BMW does need to get a handle on things as it doesn't have the dealer/power structure that other brands like Honda and Yamaha have.

OP should name the dealer(s) he is talking about - otherwise his post is just speculation and of no value.

Service to the membership would entail naming dealers who operate outside of "norms" so potential customers can make informed decisions.
