Sirius Radio Antenna

Has anyone changed their serius xm radio antenna? I just got a new 2023 RT and the reception is terrible under trees etc. I had a 2017 RT and the reception was better. I use it mostly on long distant trips but I thought I'd ask while I'm breaking it in.thumbnail_IMG_1523.jpg

Not for nothing, a receiver needs a clear line of sight to the transmitter. Signal “break-up” is to be expected anywhere that line of sight is interfered with. An extreme example for a satellite radio’s complete loss in a tunnel.
Better position of the receiver antenna can lessen or shorten the scattered outages to where they don’t seem as bad.
Satellite radios also allow for a “refresh” feature that you could look into through your provider that may help.
Good luck.
