Siebenrock speedo wiring

I've tried to reach tech support at Boxer2valve yesterday and they never called back. I would like to finish this job. I have a 1990 R100gs. I have a GS2 speedo bought from Boxer2valve. The instructions are not very complete. I have been able to mount the speedo and plug in the round 4 pin connector. I have installed the speedo cable and hooked it up. The speedo works though needs calibration for proper correct speed.

This leaves two connectors and a red wire. I believe the two connectors are for rpm and temperature but I don't see a sensor for temperature nor do I see instructions for attaching the sensor to the engine.

My main concern is the red wire. I am 90. % certain it should be always hot. Is this correct?

What is the proper temperature sensor and where can I get it? It does not show up on Boxer 2 valve. Where is it supposed to be connected to bike engine.

Any instructions for hookup of tach sensor would also be appreciated.

got callback

Eddie from boxer2valve called back. He had to go find the instructions which were the same ones I had. No wiring diagram. He agreed that the single red wire was probably always 12v on for the preservation of the clock time. He said there are two plugs that were not used and agreed they were probably temperature and tach. They do not carry the sensors so you just don't get those unless you order sensors from siebenrock or maybe Acewell.
