Hi Frank,
Do you have the INSTRUMENT CLUSTER with Digital DisplayOE?
SETUP may require holding the rocker in longer for the computer to access the system.
Select the SETUP
Requirement (The vehicle is stationary):
System works great with some patience and re-reading the Riders Manual R12.

Turn on the ignition. ( 78)
The home view is displayed.
Repeatedly press the rocker
button 1 briefly until the desired
value 2 is displayed
It took me several "Repeatedly press the rocker" before I saw the changes. To back up, push the bottom of the rocker.SETUP may require holding the rocker in longer for the computer to access the system.
Select the SETUP
Requirement (The vehicle is stationary):
Press the rocker button 1 repeatedly until SETUP is displayed.
Press and hold the bottom of the rocker button 1 to go to SETUP.
Press the rocker button 1 each time to select the following menus:
