Rider Magazine Review: 2024 M1000XR

While the 18,000 mile valve check interval is good data, I take any subjective review published by Rider these days with a grain of salt. They simply cannot afford to report anything a major advertiser might not approve of. That’s not a statement critical of Rider or their staff, it’s just the reality of their business environment today.

If they make it so you can mount bags, I'd upgrade in a heartbeat. Without bags, it's not an option; when I do any longer range riding, I need some "stuff" with me, tire kit, more clothes, something to drink/eat, a camera, etc.

I hope they put the mounting points back and let us put the XR luggage on it. Actually, on 2nd thought, I hope they don't. I love my XR and really don't need to drop 30K! ;)

Isn't that pretty much true for any reviewer/ influencer today?
