Removing a 2012 RT-P Driver's Seat / BMW MOA Consumer Liaison Inquiry

I've had an inquiry from a member regarding his 2012 R1200RT-P. Seems he's bought a Corbin seat to replace the original RT-P seat, but has been unable to remove the original in order to install the replacement. He says the radio box is still in place on his RT-P. He has a copy of the Rider's Manual for his bike, but it has no information about the RT-P version.

Any ideas or directions certainly appreciated.

On the r11rtp series bikes the release is in side the top box. Not sure about the r12rtp but this is probably the same.
