Motorcycle Rear Suspension Bolt may Loosen
If the bolt loosens and affects the motorcycle's handling, there may be an increased risk of a crash.

Summary

BMW North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 S 1000 RR motorcycles manufactured June 8, 2016, to November 16, 2016, and 2017 S 1000 R motorcycles manufactured on October 12, 2016. One of the bolts on the rear suspension deflection lever may loosen and adversely affect the handling of the motorcycle.

Remedy

BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the bolts and tighten them to the proper specifications, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 10, 2017. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

NHTSA seems to have changed their layout a bit. I noticed that the Canada recall was for R/XR but the US was for R/RR. Why the difference?
 
Yes they have change their entire site sometime recently.

I also noticed the XR wasn't listed in this recall. I am not certain why.
