R11R Fairing question

R11R fairing

Welcome to the club! I like that fairing! I don't know who made it but when you find out would you let me know? I ride a 99 R1100R and that is the first fairing I've seen that I would put on it. Is that your bike? It's a beauty. Ride Safe!

r11r fairing

Thanks for the welcome, Richard. Isn't that fairing a beauty? It looks like an updated "S" fairing from an old airhead. The bike in the photo isn't mine, I borrowed the pic from a Japanese website.
I have a '98 in black w white pinstriping - I moved up from a /7. All I can say is that apparently BMW has done a bit of R&D in the past 20+ years! I loved my /7, but this new (to me) bike is unbelievable! I feel a little more "folded up" on this one (I'm 6'4"), but the performance more than makes up for it. Besides it gives a good excuse to pull off and stretch and check out the odd diner or shop that I normally would have just ridden by. I'll definitely drop you a note if/when anybody is able to help us out.

Regards,
Eric
