Pups First Ride

SURVIVOR
Took our new dogs for their first sidecar ride. Short ride up and back from the mailbox a few times. Both did very well. Tomorrow we may take them out on the highway for a short ride.

These goggles are called Rex Specs. We think the single lens is easier for the dogs to tolerate, and they seem to be working.

They seem to enjoy riding with us. Took them shopping for a pad in Annie’s sidecar for Elliot.

We were getting ready for a ride when we got hit by a pop-up thunderstorm. High winds and hard rain. The boys were anxious to get going.

They got in the car and refused to exit.

Even when we got geared up the wait continued.

Eventually the skies cleared and we were off, but a picture was not taken.

Took our boys to a local drive-in that is reminiscent of something you might have seen in the 50s or 60s. Order over a speaker and your order is brought to your car’s window. In our case we parked our rigs in some available shade so Finn and Elliot could enjoy their meals in comfort. The R&B drive-in offers a doggie burger. It’s a normal burger without a bun; it comes with a desert of a dog biscuit with a small dollop of whipped cream on it. Every time we were served it was by a different teenaged girl who want her picture taken while sitting on a bike with pup next to her.
