Odd engine behaviour on 2013

I've noticed some odd behaviour on my new to me 2013 RT.
Running along in 3rd, if I'm going to downshift, I pull in the clutch, blip the throttle to increase engine rpm and drop it into second.
Sometimes the throttle blip does raise the rpm, other times the engine just bogs and doesn't increase rpms but shifts fine into second and all is fine.
It doesn't happen all the time but I can't pinpoint any specific conditions when it happens.
At first I thought it was only happening on downhills but on a ride yesterday it seems to happen on level ground.
Anyone else have this issue?

I had the same frustrating problem. I had the throttle bodies synced and it's better, but not perfect. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone to compare it with. Good luck!

I'm not specifically familiar with these, but - The throttle bodies have an "idle control device" on their topsides. Of course it's computer-controlled. Besides a "sync" of the throttle bodies, isn't there a separate step (via GS-911 or das faktory kompyuter) to set the idle?
Another possibility might be an air leak at the O-ring between this and the TB's mounting flange.
