Hello everyone,
I am here to confess a crime. Long time BMW owner and rider, for some reason I had overlooked becoming a member. Crime confessed and remedied.
I've been loving airheads (and sidecars) ever since I was a young boys in Paris and I lived in the same street as the main dealer, that always had a row of them on display. And then watching them in the Tour de France... My father had been riding Norton and Triumph but had stopped by the time I was a boy.
It took me some time to graduate to riding BMW. I started with Japanese bikes in France and in Japan. Upon coming to the US there were other priorities than riding...
Got my first (an R1150RT) 15 years ago. Currently the stable is a bit overflowing but primarily centers on an R1100RT with close to 140,000 miles (not all mine of course), an R100GSPD that shows it's been through battle a lot, and the dogmobile, an R75/5 that my dogs want me to be the only bike I ride.
Colorado is home, I am in SW Denver.
Have a wonderful day!
