Hello MOA,

I joined briefly in 2020 when I purchased my 2005 R1200GS, unfortunately I let that membership lapse. A friend encouraged me to ride the measly 300 miles to attend my first National Rally. Well, that was the longest one way motorcycle ride I’ve ever taken - 1,300 miles later - I’m back home and so glad I took the first step to touring!

Side note - Does anyone know where I can get some used painted parts for my bike- lost my side panel on my way to Doswell, Va.

Thanks

Gilbert

Welcome Gilbert! Glad to hear you're back among the touring. Hopefully, you can share a pic or two of the GS.

Yoh, Gil! If you’ve got an old GS, it just might be parked Horizontally in the future. Hard to say...

Invest your $$ in some off-road Training. It'll be money well spent. :thumb
Don’t forget the Paul-B Training stipend... :dunno

Read your Owners News about Training opportunities reasonably close to your house.

We’ve utilized this NC Moto-Man with positive results: >> https://www.motomark1.com/course_category/2-wheel-course/ <<

Enjoy your X-country travels to Oregon next June! :D
