Need bolt thread info R11RT

The two bolts, furthest aft, that hold down the luggage rack......I just removed and sold an aftermarket top box and I forgot to check the thread pitch on the bolts that were removed and sold with the unit. They are the two recessed bolts. I cannot see from Max microfische. Anybody happen to know this, or is it just trial and error? TY.

Item #10 looks right to me too, unless we need a better description of what's different with yours....?
If your after-market box was a Givi, that may have used longer ones of the same thread for their adapter baseplate.

Yes. It was a Givi. And the bolts were longer. So maybe it is #10 in the schematic? There's 4 shorter bolts installed in-line across the front of the rack that attach the rack to the side case brackets and then the two that secure the rear rack to the frame (down through a post / rubber grommet) into the rear frame. Those are the ones I have to replace.

You could ride the bike to your favorite store that carries metric bolts. Sweet talk the manager into taking a handful of bolts outside and try them until you find the right threads.

Just looked at the fiche again and bolts #10 show 4x installed which means they're the shorter ones that attach the front of the luggage rack to the top ends of the side brackets. So I don't see the bolts is question on that slide. Not a big deal. I'll just go get something that fits. Thought someone might have a quick answer. Thx

I just looked at the ones on my '98 R1100RT. The two aft are longer M6s, so it's probably M6 x 35. The 4 forward are shorter but also M6s - likely the 25s. I think the fiche is incorrect. They are all fillister head screws. Last time I was buying something similar, I found a nice selection at Home Depot or Lowe's.
