Motorrad Connected App updated today

For those that use it- the Connected app updated today to version 5.2.0. They did not elaborate much on the changes in the iOS App Store, but opening the app post update shows a couple of splash screens- 1 about real time traffic, and another about the GS1300. Probably a safe bet that these items were the focus of the update. Either way- I highly recommend that you log out of the app and back in after updating.

There is one change on the iPhone version of the Connected App. In the Map view they added a fourth button on the right side of the screen.
It is for Map Type. If you select it, it will open a window on the bottom. Thais lets you select from 3 different Map Types: Standard, Satellite or Terrain. It also has a Show Traffic slide switch.
Yesterday, while riding I could not tell if the different map types would also display on the TFT screen of the RT. But I guess it will be feature to assist with your route planning.
