Motorcycle guided tours in New Zealand

We went with John Rains at Te Waipounamu Motor Cycle Tours, with Fred Rau and Ted Simon a few years ago. John and his wife Allison run an excellent tour company.

No hijack intended here, so please don’t let this become one...BUT..
My wife and I have been looking into a NZ tour but so far have not found anyone who rents sidecar rigs. So if anyone in this thread runs across a tour operator or other business that rents s/c rigs please let me know.

Another option to consider, since New Zealand is so motorcycle friendly, is to rent bikes and work with Te Waipounamu to plan your own personal tour. Go here:
