Recommendations New Zealand bike tours

Hi All,

I would like to do a bike tour of New Zealand the first quarter of 2024...any recommendations?
As a two way conversation I will recommend two tours I have taken recently:

Croatia Riviera by Adriatic Moto Tours
Morocco by IMT Bike tours

Downshift & Disappear

Cheers

George

Welcome to the forum! I visited New Zealand back in the late 1990s on a work trip. Always vowed I'd go back. I found the South Island more interesting...that's probably where I'd concentrate if I get the chance.

There are a few older threads about New Zealand in the Similar Threads pane below...one is not that old. Using the Tag Cloud, I find this thread:

An advertiser in the MOA News is Tour New Zealand at www.gotournz.com which might be worth checking out.

Sounds Good, George! The forum is all about sharing info!

NZ is still lingering on my bucket list, but we're headed back to Europe next spring before the MOA Rally.

We've enjoyed AMT in Slovenia & Croatia. Do consider Celtic Motor Tours in Dublin if you've not done Ireland.

Damn you all! I want to ride somewhere far away. Thinking of shipping a bike to Europe to chase the Iron Butt Lighthouse game but also seriously considering tours. A buddy of mine guides offroad tours in Morocco. Time and money...

Not a recommendation - yet - but I’ve booked a bike for an end January/early February tour with Paradisemototours. One can ride with them on a tour or rent a bike with preprogrammed GPS and they’ll make motel reservations for you. That’s the option I’m taking. I found them as a BMW approved associated business on the BMW website. I’ve rented a 750 GS and will post after the tour.
