K75 firing order

Still in the process of salvaging the wrecked K75 we aquired last summer. New frame, some fairing parts but I still can't get it to run. Bike fires and then dies, acts like it wants to run on two cylinders.

The spark plug wires are connected in sequence with the coils. i.e front coil connected to No 1 cylinder, middle coil connected to No.2 and rear coil connected to No.3.

I get enough spark on all plugs to make me use colorful words so I think the coils are good.

Can someone confirm this is or is not correct. I think it is probally wrong but need the right order.

Thanks,

Dan

I just went out and checked to be sure. The coils are arranged in the same order as the spark plugs. Front to #1, middle to #2, and rear to #3. That is on the high tension side.

I assume the coils were off the bike if it got a new frame. If so I suppose it still is possible that the primary (little) wires to the coils might have been rearranged. I didn't pull the coil cover to see what the primary wiring colors were but can if you think that might be the problem. I haven't looked at those wires in so long I forget how they are arranged.

Thanks
I will check it this weekend when I get down to the other house. Have not messed with the K75 for a while an tried to start it again last weekend. I have been concentrating on momma's R60. I got a phone call last week that went like this "If I wanted a bike I have to work on all of the time I would have goten a harley" so the carb rebuild got moved up my priority list.
