A recent owner of a 2013 R1200RT! And been riding the new to me bike for the past two weeks and loving it. Hope to find more information and friends here and eventually contribute with my experience.

Knowing llojo personally you picked up on a truism. He rides & commutes year-round in any weather (except when snowing) up until recently on a Sportster. Went in to the former Bergen BMW/Harley dealer (now just Harley) to simply buy a helmet and came out with a beautiful r1200rt. I mean the same exact day. Been riding every minute he can since.
