front wheel stand suggestions?

Pit-Bull is probably the most popular and very well made.

I use Motostance with our K1300S bikes.

If I'm not removing the rear wheel before removing the front, I place a thin piece of plywood under the centerstand before raising the front to make sure the rear tire does not touch the floor.
On our bikes, before lifting, I need to make sure I'm not pinching the ABS wire and still have access to the axle pinch bolt.
You can see the plywood in this picture.

I use the stands a lot for cleaning the front wheel. When I do this I remove the holders and slide in hitch pins. This raises the tire about 1/4" off the ground and lets me spin it.

Looks like the stand is on sale now.

thanks for quick responses

I'll check these two sites. With an annual tire change, I need to get more economical than being dealer dependent.

I no longer mount and balance my tires but I do remove my wheels and take those to the shop. Dealers seem to charge a lot to remove the wheels from the bike.
If you want to mount your own tires, NoMar is a popular tool.

Here's a video from Steve's link showing how the front stand works.
