Question re. final drive oil change.
Where can I find the aftermarket tool for injecting oil into the final drive unit? While I managed to use a regular syringe, but it was messy, left a bit of a mess.
I have always used a outboard motor lowerend injector pump transmission, drive shaft and final drive.
What size syringe are you using? I get 60cc syringes from our veterinarian and find refills to be neat and easy.
Beemerboneyard.com sells a bottle with an angle tip.
Here's the link for the bottle.

As an aside, when I fill a rear end or other hard to fill "port", I like to have the oil warmed up so that the flow is as good as it gets. As mentioned, If I'm good on a known measure I like to let the container hang to insure an accurate fill.

That’s helpful. When I did mine, the oil was cold and kind of hard to squirt in. As a result, some oil had definitely spilled out.
While I am sure I got most of the oil in, how do I know if there is enough in there? Eyeball it? Please help! Thx.
