Final Drive Fill Plug Type

Got ready to do a DIY final drive gear oil change on my 2018 r1200 rt and was verifying my tools before I did something like draining it and not being able to refill it. Damn glad I did----all the YT videos I watched referenced a 6mm hex drive fill plug. A 6mm is too large for the hole and upon inspection, mIne is, well NOT SURE. It seems to have splines and a 40 Torx SEEMS to fit, as it is tight when I roll the socket in my fingers, but honestly I am reluctant to put any force to it for fear of stripping it out-----I tried to loosen the drain plug and it seems way overtight as 20Nm is only about 15 ft. lbs and it was not wanting to budge. I have unsuccessfully tried to look at microfiches from online suppliers but this seems to be a dealer item.

Is anyone ware of what other plug BMW might have used on this model/year and what tool I need to remove and re install it?

A picture is missing on Jim's thread and that may be a picture showing the size of the fill plug.

Adding to what the other said. Be aware that the crush washers are different for the oil drain and final drive plugs. I can't recall specifics, and I'm sure it's covered in the videos, but one is copper (brass?) and the other aluminum. I discovered the difference when I found half a pint of motor oil on the floor the morning after my first oil change. 😮🙄😖
