Maybe, but I believe Kawasaki and Honda started motorcycle assembly in the US to avoid the early ‘80’s tariff on bikes over 700cc, and Toyota, Nissan, Ford and Mercedes either assemble or have re-assembled imported trucks and vans in the US for years to avoid the 25% “chicken tax”.Tariffs are likely to apply to all the parts that are coming in too. Anything not manufactured here. Including food (like all the fruits and veg coming up from Mexico) and lumber (coming down from Canada).
