Carrying insulin on the bike

I’ve used a Frio pack in my tank bag for carrying my insulin with reasonable success..throw it in a fridge overnight or soak it as required.
What do other insulin dependent diabetics do to keep their insulin cold during the day while riding?

Reminder - room temp stability of insulin is at least 30 days.

So - what @Lee said.

Insulatating among clothes in the middle of a pannier should be good enough for all but the most extreme situations
- usually freezing temperatures.

(My pannier content temp at the end of the day was still good after a recent 44 deg C (111 deg F) ride through the Texas panhandle and a June 2022 ride at 47 C (117 deg F) through eastern Washington.) I often ride below freezing to enjoy the bugless rides and leafless views through the turns. If I were carrying insulin, it would be on my body, though away from a heated vest.

There's a lot of companies out there selling unnceessary refrigeration products for daily use. If you think of this technology as optional and not a necessity, you can save a lot of anxiety and money.

I always recommend one check with their full-time, diabetes care and education specialist on the latest recommendations and available technology.

You would have more stable temperatures if carried in one of the panniers. Use the non exhaust side.
Did you ever get panniers for your GS?
Your clothing would act as insulation.
I bought SW-Motech Trax Ion cases and top case..
