Camhead Engine Guards via EBay

Overall I think these were a really great value. Didn't have any trouble installing them (no come-along needed).

The common narrative though is that anything made in China is crap. All I'm willing to say at this point is that they appear to be of quite good quality.

Here's the thing: Chinese factories, which generally are merely producers making stuff for other companies, will make stuff to any specification. Their clients generally specify making things to a very low price-point. If their clients wanted supreme quality, those factories can do it. But hardly any client asks them to.

Agree. It really doesn't matter where something is made. What's matters is the quality specifications in place by the factory's customer.

I forgot to mention that the tubing wall thickness is .100 inch. Very sturdy. For $178-something shipped to my door I'm pretty satisfied.

Pappy, Please post a link. Perhaps you did, but I didn't see it.
Agree, if specs. are met and there is QC; who cares where it came from.
Glad you're satisfied. :thumb

This is the one I bought. This seller had loads of very positive feedback and their delivery estimate was quicker than most of the other listings at that time. There are lots and lots of different sellers hawking what appear to be the same product so who knows why that is or where they are sourcing their product. As with anything on EBay via China YMMV (you mileage may vary - a.k.a. buy at your own risk). I took a substantial risk, for me, buying this but, my biases aside, this seller was either very good or I got lucky.
