Brentuning ECU Tuning

If you have tuned your ECU with the Brentuning system are you happy with it & did you have any issues?
I have a 2018 R1200RT that I'm considering getting the ECU tuned & like the idea of the Brentuning Handheld Diagnostic Tool that enables you to change the mapping if you so choose. Yes, more expensive than sending in your ECU to get reflashed, but I like the benefit(s) of not having to send in your ECU & the option to download different maps.

That sounds good - provided a person knows what they are doing. I suspect ECU tuning could be a bit like some folks' luck with their carburetors, wherein the bike ran pretty well until they messed with it.

I installed the Bren tune on my '14 R9T, I feel it runs smoother and seems to respond more quickly to throttle position. It was part of a long list of things I did to the bike over the winter.
