Can you try working with the URL from the QR code to find a way to the site? Not a whole lot on the main website:

That QR code on the receipt is used to scan at the event and “check-in”. It is not for adding to your Apple Wallet. To add to your wallet, you have to click the button when you registered or from your email confirmation. You don’t necessarily need either of those. It’s faster at check in if we simply look you up by your name.
