Chigee AIO-5 for BMW - No wonderwheel for R1300GS

Just dumped some money into the new Chigee and I have a trouble ticket in as it doesn't talk to the wonderwheel on my R1300GS. I took it to the dealer to confirm the 0272-Prep for GPS was present which seems to be the only suggestion from Chigee's installation manual (other than cleaning the contacts). There is no TFT->NAV display on my TFT but the unit recognizes when the bike is turned on/off.

Anyone experience this issue? I really want this thing to work but currently, it's just a really expensive replacement for my phone.

I have an R1300GS and a Chigee AIO-5 and it works with the wonderwheel the same as it does on my other bikes. I know this isn't helpful, but another data point that it should in fact work.

Just an update, it works

Took the Chigee to the dealership (Motorcycles of Dulles - awesome place!) and the unit worked immediately on the showroom bikes. Went home - no joy. Brought the bike in as they thought it may be a defective Nav Head and the service manager suggested we try a NAV 6 unit the had just for giggles. The NAV 6 unit worked and after that so did the Chigee. It really is a nice nav system.

I just had to dismount the device, plug it into a USB-C, check for updates (connect to your WiFi) and have it do its thing. Look like version 1.6 is current for 19 May 2025
