My battery charger ampmeter tells me my battery is not drawing any amps.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply. the ampmeter is now registering a 1 amp draw.
I recall now that when a battery is totally discharged, there is more resistance due to a buildup of mineral matter on the plates. I think it'll be fine now.
