'93 R100R - drive shaft oil change?

Doing a fluids change for the first time today on my '93 R100R - according to the Clymer manual that came with the bike I should be able to change the drive shaft oil, but for the life of me can't find either a fill or drain plug. The manual says "the R100GS model does not require any type of lubrication", but all others do - am I missing something obvious or is the Clymers wrong??

Sorry for what may be a dumb noob question - this is my first airhead and am still figuring things out.

Thanks!

My Haynes says "there is no oil in the swinging arm on Paralever equipped models." That's for R80GS, R80R, R100GS, and R100R.

I am not an expert, but if I am not mistaken there was a design change starting with 1988 with the 88 to 95 being dry shaft. This was in an effort to reduce the rear end lifting under hard acceleration when changing gears. My 86 is wet a friends 88 is dry. Google BM bikes, an english website, has all sort of spec info...

thanks guys; I figured the manual had this wrong but wanted to ask and be sure.
